Young Leader Rally & Training weekend - 26-28 January 2018

The aim of this weekend is to offer a fun and informative way to connect with other Young Leaders from all over the county; to allow new young leaders to complete modules B-J and existing young leaders to develop their skills; to allow ESL(YL) a chance to network and engaged with young leaders. This event is being organised by a team of young leaders and adults to ensure it is a youth shaped weekend,

Friday

Arrival & Welcome

Module B-J or challenges

Saturday

- Young Leader modules B - J OR

- Young Leader development workshops including: skills workshops (e.g. bushcraft, mini pioneering, organising residentials), running values activities (link to QSA), running international/global actiivities (link to QSA), challenging behaviour, adapting activites and completing top awards.

Evening - campfire, wide game, movie etc.& chill time

Sunday

- Young Leader forum - discussing being a young leader in Hampshire

- Workshops (cont)

- ESL (YL) meeting

afternoon - blended Module K - First Aid (with e-learning)

Arrival Information

You can come for part or all of the weekend.

Date & Time: Friday 26th January at 19:30. Please arrive in Scout Uniform. Please eat before you arrive.

Collection Information

Date & Time: Sunday 28h January 16:30

Lyon's Copse - address as above.

The centre has toilets, showers, kitchen facilities, first aid room and main hall.

Accommodation will be in bunk beds or on the floor in the halls.

Cost

£12 all weekend plus £3 if staying for Module K (First Response)

£5 if attending Sunday only

What to bring

Rucksack or holdall, sleeping bag/mat/pillow, wash kit, towel, tea towel, torch & clothing to include Scout uniform, outdoor / indoor shoes, waterproof & 2 changes of clothing.
